The Shuttle was awesome

I remember when Columbia launched. We didn’t have a TV so we had to go round the road to a house that did in order to watch this amazing event. I remember the picture being a bit fuzzy and how weird it was to hear the American voices on the international simulcast. I really wanted to be an astronaut after that. Still kindof do.

Lego Set of the Day: The new 1,205-piece Lego Space Shuttle set combines to form a 17.5 inches tall spacecraft, complete with retractable landing gear, detachable fuel tank, and booster rockets. Included in the set are three minifigs (male and female astronauts and a service crew member), a ground maintenance vehicle, and a launch pad for takeoffs.

The set will cost $100, and is expected to be released in June.
